Who we are

Gardian Holdings works in cargo securement, damage prevention and shock absorption for transportation and logistics. The company engineers systems for shippers who need to reduce damage, injuries and downtime tied to loading and unloading cargo.

Ty-Gard's adhesive bands secure palletized and loose cargo inside containers and trailers. Shock-Gard's reusable panels protect railcar and trailer loads and return through a reverse logistics network instead of one-way disposal.

• 1976Walnut Industries develops the Avi-Gard® restraint system.
• 1997Ty-Gard International Inc. formed to expand the business globally.
• 2006Ty-Gard® approved by the Association of American Railroads.
• 2012Shock-Gard LLC founded to develop reusable, sustainable damage-prevention systems.
• 2018Ty-Gard Double Strength (DS)® and Shock-Gard® U.S. patents issued.
• 2020Shock-Gard manufacturing line installed in Lancaster, Texas.
• 2024Ty-Gard and Shock-Gard partner with Somera Private Equity to form Gardian Holdings.
• 2024New corporate headquarters established in Plano, Texas.
