Mixed SKUs move as palletized cases, shuttles and loose loads through cross-dock networks, secured to the wall with Ty-Gard DS®.

Problem

Mixed loads shift and slow the cross-dock

Cross-dock networks move mixed SKUs as palletized cases, shuttles and loose loads, often through several transfers before the final mile. Braking and cornering can shift a pallet or a loose case against the doors at any one of those transfers, and a shifted load means rework and a delay at the next dock. One-way blocking materials have to be rebuilt at every re-load.

  • — Palletized cases and loose loads shift against the doors across multiple cross-dock transfers
  • — A shifted load means rework and a delay at the next dock
  • — One-way blocking materials must be rebuilt at every re-load
