Technology
The DS story
A 24" flexible band laminated with high-shear acrylic adhesive that absorbs energy under impact, then peels clean. U.S. patent issued 2018. AAR approved since 2006, with production certified to ISO 9001 since 2008. In 2019, the US Army and NATO Defense Ammunition Center approved Ty-Gard DS for securement of explosives and ammunition in commercial and military transport units.
