02What we collect

We collect only what is needed to answer your request and to keep the website running:

• Contact and inquiry forms: name, company, email address, what you ship and your message.
• Finder queries: the free-text description of your cargo, industry or container that you type into the finder, and any filters you select.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time, and referring page, recorded in server logs.
• Cookies and similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy. We do not use advertising cookies.

03Why we use it and on what basis

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

• To respond to your inquiry, prepare a load diagram or arrange a demonstration — performance of a contract or steps before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• To operate, secure and improve the website, including the finder — our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• To comply with legal obligations, for example record-keeping — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
• For any optional analytics or marketing cookies — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

04The finder and AI processing

The finder matches your description to pages on this website. To do so, the text you enter is sent to an AI service provider (OpenAI) acting as our processor. Do not enter personal data, confidential shipment details or trade secrets into the finder. Queries are not used to train the provider's models under our agreement.

05Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with:

• Service providers that host the website, deliver email, or process finder queries, under contracts that restrict their use of your data.
• Gardian group companies (Ty-Gard, Shock-Gard) and authorised distributors when needed to answer your request.
• Authorities, where the law requires it or to protect our rights.

06International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you contact us from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, your data will be transferred to the US. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard with our providers.

07How long we keep it

• Inquiries and correspondence: for as long as needed to handle the request and for 24 months afterwards.
• Finder queries: 30 days, then deleted or anonymised.
• Server logs: 90 days.

08Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA) may also request to know what personal information we collect, disclose or sell, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

09Security

We use HTTPS, access controls and reputable hosting providers to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; report any concern to the address above.
